However, there are a few easy measures you can make to make sure your carpet cleaning goes swiftly and without any issues. 1. Choose a day when you won’t need to use the room to clean the carpet. For instance, if you’re having your daughter’s dance practice on Thursdays and you’re having the carpets in your den cleaned, avoid scheduling the carpet cleaning for that day. Keep your family and pets out of the room for at least three to four hours after the carpet has been cleaned to give it time to dry.
2. Grab the little things. Do a quick pick-up in the room before the team shows up. Remove tiny items from the area, such as toys, magazine racks, chairs, and sit-around.
3. Get rid of any fragile items from the area. When it comes to ensuring the security of your things, our knowledgeable crew is extremely cautious and thoughtful. We always make an effort to be aware of our surroundings when operating our equipment to avoid any accidents. Better to be safe than sorry, though. Prior to your scheduled carpet cleaning, it could be a good idea to move any fragile items that are hanging on the walls.
4. Get your pets secured in a different part of the house. Although dogs and cats sometimes get in the way when we’re cleaning, our carpet cleaning products are completely safe for both you and your pets and are completely non-toxic. Or perhaps they are scared of our tools. Therefore, the best course of action is to secure your dogs in a separate room while the carpet crew is at your house.
5. Take remove any heavy furniture by moving it. Please move all heavy objects out of the room before our arrival. We can move lighter things or furniture that can be moved from one side of the room to the other. Or, for an additional fee, our able team can transport your heavy furniture for you.
6. You can vacuum if you wish or not. Although it is not required, some of our clients choose to vacuum the carpet before we arrive. We’ll vacuum before we clean.
